Cashmans Wrap Around Insulators pack of 10 are 20-inch contractor-grade insulators for corner and end post electric fence applications, made from UV-resistant polyethylene with a high-density polyethylene insert that prevents fence wire from cutting through the insulator over time under tension. These corner and end post insulators wrap around the post and hold the fence wire at the correct standoff distance for effective electric fence operation, preventing the wire from grounding against the post which would drain the fence charge and reduce its effectiveness. The UV-resistant material of these wrap around insulators is built for long outdoor life in direct sunlight without becoming brittle or losing its electrical insulating properties. These 20-inch insulators are contractor grade, meaning they are built to the higher standards used by professional fence installers.
