The Cashmans flat one side post gives you the structural strength of a 6-inch round post with a flat face that makes board and rail attachment faster and cleaner. This 6-inch fence post is made from Southern Yellow Pine and pressure treated to a .40 retention for long-term ground-contact performance. The 3/4-round shape of this flat side cylinder post means your fence boards sit flush against the post surface with no gaps or shimming needed. Like all Cashmans cylinder posts, this 6-inch flat side post is the same diameter on each end and perfectly straight out of the bundle.
At 8 feet long, this flat one side post works well for taller fence sections and deep-set gate or corner applications. The flat face makes boarding go faster, and the 6-inch diameter of this flat side cylinder post provides the same structural strength as a full round post under fence tension and livestock pressure.
